What’s to Come…

So I have been, well, slacking lately. I have been seriously thinking and I don’t want to stop blogging, stop designing, and stop making resources. I enjoy it too much. But I want to grow more then where I am with this site. So what my plan is going to be is by the end of Christmas break, I will have a new domain. From there I will move everything over, and redesign the site. So if all goes according to plan, hopefully*, I will have a new site by the new year.

Where have I been?

School is becoming so demanding. If it already isn’t bad enough, I start Spanish 101 tomorrow. That will drain even more out of me. I’ve been trying to get the new site thing rolling…well kind of. As important as this site is to me, school right now is more important. I’ve just put it on the back burner, so to speak. I will try to start updating more often. Maybe over Thanksgiving this week I can. We’ll see.

New Resources

Ah the feel of accomplishment when I click that publish button. It’s about time I get some resources don’t you think? Other then studying for a Government vocabulary quiz, I don’t have homework so I actually have time to upload and blog. I have some desktop backgrounds from my photography and I actually started doing icons. They’re actually fun. They are simple right now, but I think they look quite snazzy.

I made one, then I just kept making them. Here’s the six I have made so far, gosh these are fun.

    
    

I’m still in the process of editing things, but here is a background. Seeing that it is fall, there should be some fall themed backgrounds.

I’ll be sifting through much of my 60 GB of pictures to find more backgrounds.

School has been so hectic for me lately. My AP classes want so much of me, I know it’s a college class but I can still rant! I am also in this class that I just happen to hate with everything in my body. Civil Engineering is terrible. I would never go into that. I bet you’re wondering then why am I in the class. Well, I had to. We were asked a few questions and asked to circle what we thought was interesting at the end of Sophomore year and I just happened to circle Civil Engineering. The class isn’t that boring, I get to design buildings and whatnot but the material is so hard to wrap your head around…especially land surveying. While on the topic of engineering, I went to Milwaukee School of Engineering. I fell in love with that college. I want to go there, so bad. It’s perfect for me in so many ways. It’s a small college with around 2,000 students attending and they have the major I want to go into: computer engineering. Visiting MSOE today makes me want college so much more now. I can’t wait for high school to be over. One and three fourths of a year left!

I have complied a checklist on what I need to do for sitely things:
-New domain
-Find a REAL monthly host
-Sift through photography
-Start compiling a portfolio
-Write tutorials
-Scan stocks
-Update the credits page
-Work on icons
I have a feeling this list will grow, a lot.
